What each piece does
Three pieces, three different jobs. One changes how the water feels on you. One cleans it up everywhere in the house. One purifies the water in your glass.

Water Softener Installation
Soft water rinses all the way off. Skin feels smooth instead of tight, hair comes out soft, and soap and shampoo go further than they used to. Nothing is left behind on you, and nothing builds up in your fixtures or your water heater.Learn more →
Whole House Water Filtration
A carbon tank on the main line cleans up the water for the whole house before it ever reaches you. Out comes the chlorine your city adds, and everything that rides along with it. Every shower, every bath, every load of laundry.Learn more →
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Drinking water gets its own treatment. It runs through extra stages on the way to your glass, and that extra work is what makes it the purest water in the house. Coffee tastes like coffee. The ice comes out clear.Learn more →
Water System Installation
It ties into the main line where water comes into the house, so everything downstream gets treated at once. Two tanks take up about the space of a water heater.Learn more →What comes with it
Lifetime warranty on the tanks
Your softener and filtration tank are covered for as long as you own them. The reverse osmosis system carries a one year warranty, and so does labor. After that, a service visit is $80.

Installed pricing for the whole house
The softener, whole house filtration and reverse osmosis for purified drinking water, installed together. Where you land depends on your water and your plumbing.
Well water here carries a lot of iron, so it takes three tanks, an iron breaker, often a chlorinator and a UV light. That pushes the range up a bit.
We can spread it over payments. We go through the options with you when you get your quote, so you can pick what fits.
North Texas water, by the numbers
All fourteen cities publish a water quality report every year. Here is what they add up to.
Not one city we cover reports water the U.S. Geological Survey would call soft. The hardest of them run more than three times past that line.
Every one of them puts chlorine in the water. It is the same disinfectant that keeps a pool clear, and it dries skin and hair the same way.
The North Texas Municipal Water District treats water for about 2.4 million people across a 2,200 square mile service area. Every spring it stops adding ammonia and runs straight chlorine for a month. In 2026 that was March 2nd to the 30th.
What people usually ask us

How much does a water treatment system cost in DFW?
A whole house water treatment system in Dallas-Fort Worth runs $2,495 to $5,500 installed. See our installed water treatment pricing for what that covers and financing.
How long does a water softener install take?
A typical water softener and filtration install in DFW takes one day, start to finish. The tanks tie into the main line where water comes into the house, and the reverse osmosis unit goes under the kitchen sink. You have soft, filtered water the same day.
Is there a lifetime warranty?
Yes, on the whole house system. The water softener and the whole house filtration tank carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty, for as long as they are yours. The reverse osmosis system carries a one year manufacturer warranty. Labor is covered for the first year. After that, a service visit is $80.
Does a water softener take out the chlorine?
No. That takes a different piece of equipment. A softener handles the calcium and magnesium that make water hard. Chlorine comes out at a carbon tank on the main line, so every faucet and every shower in the house runs through it. Reverse osmosis then treats the drinking water at the kitchen sink, and it is what takes the forever chemicals out.
Do Dallas-Fort Worth cities have forever chemicals in the water?
Ten of the cities we cover publish a PFAS result in their water report, and four of them are over a federal limit. PFAS are man made chemicals that do not break down, which is why people call them forever chemicals. Reverse osmosis takes them out of the water your family drinks and cooks with. Your own city's figures are on its service area page.
